The session will provide a platform for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to collaboratively deliberate and discuss delivery mechanisms that can help integrate disaster and climate resilience for infrastructure development in their countries. The recommendations for the New Programme of Action for SIDS indicated in the Outcome Document for the Interregional Preparatory Meeting of the 4th International Conference on SIDS will be the basis for the discussions. The session will also bring together relevant development partners who are committed to supporting the development aspirations of small island nations
